Mr. Elbaz has completely outdone himself with this spring/summer 2011 line. The line takes on minimalistic sihouettes and colorblocking techniques with muted but vibrant colors, solidifying them with strong neutral such as blacks, greys, and navys. Many of the designs feature deep v, high neck, and scoop necklines. The draping and fluidity of the line expressed the persona of the talented mastermind of the house. The garments were meant to be "a hymn to skin", but you can define them as nymphs of mythology.
