Black is Beautiful: Day Twelve

On Friday, one of my good friend passed away in a car addicent. I have been lost for words and the reason of my absence. I decided to dedicate this Black is Beautiful day to Lawrence Ogunnowo. He absolutely loved fashion and was always dressed up. He was a light in my world and many others. I missed him dearly but I know he is in a better place. I love you and miss you LO. Say hi to my great-grandmother for me.

Love Zo.

Black is Beautiful: Day Nine & Ten

She's so unbelievable that she deserves two days. Mrs. Iman is one diva in the fashion business. She has ruled the international world since the mid 1970s and has stop ruling the catwalks since. She has turned from monoym fame into an empire with entrepreunerships, skin care and makeup lines, and continuous humanitarian deeds. At her young age of 55, Iman still graces covers of fashion giants such as W, Vogue, Elle, and Harper's Bazaar. She is the epitome of supermodels.

Sorry that I'm late but the weekend can get a hold of you early. I already had this post ready but I decide to throw in some Valentine Day inspired outfits. My favorites from the week were On the Way to Valentine, due to the part that a good friend of mine is from Stuttgart and he inspired me with fashion, and Suprised with a Dozen Rose. I am anxiously waiting for my wedges from Aldo to arrive. See them here. I'm in desperate need of dark camel/caramel jacket for spring to balance the shoes.

Update!

Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day. I spent mine with some beautiful and great friends. I love being in good company. What did you guys do/receive/gift on V-Day? I love holidays; I absolutely love receiving teddy bears on the 14th. Nothing less or more. Valentine's Day is not to celebrate you but the relationship (us). Hope love helps you grow and prosper.
